Road Assist
(Included with all vehicle Policies, except for vehicles insured for Third Party Only)

This package provides you with rapid roadside emergency solutions!
Breakdown assistance:
- Towing to the nearest dealer after a mechanical/electrical breakdown
- Vehicle repatriation up to R 500-00
- The call-out fee plus 1 hour's labour for a vehicle locksmith if your keys are locked in your car
- Cover for the call out and 1 st hour's labour when assistance with a flat tyre/battery is required
- Free emergency delivery of 10 litres of fuel (charged at cost), for 3 emergency events per year
- If you are stranded more than 100km away from home:
Car hire to the value of R 500.00 for a 24 hour period
or
Overnight hotel accommodation for the driver and occupants, to a maximum of R500, in a hotel of the service provider's choice
- Roadside referral
- Mechanic referral
- Direction service
- 72 Hours free storage after tows
- Notification and message service for family or business
The Breakdown Assistance service has a maximum annual limit of 3 call-outs per insured vehicle.
Accident Assistance:
- Towing to the nearest approved panel beater / yard after an accident
- Collision procedure advice
No limit is set for accident towing under this benefit.
Home Assist (included with all Policies)
Emergencies inside your home need no longer turn into nightmares! We cover the call-out fee plus 1 hour's labour for the services of
- Plumbers
- Electricians
- Glaziers
- Locksmiths
Members also have full access to a comprehensive database, where referrals are given for:
- Builders
- Carpet specialists
- Painters
- Garden services
- Fire damage repairers
The Home Assist service has a maximum annual limit of 5 call-outs per household.
Medical Assist (Included with all Policies)
In the event of any medical emergency, you have the assurance of complete access to:
- Emergency telephonic assistance via the NETCARE 911 Health-On-Line medical advice line
- Emergency response by road or air ambulance to the scene of incident
- Transfers by road or air to the most appropriate medical facility
- Transfers of life saving medication/blood
- Companionship and/or care for stranded minors
- Repatriation of terminally ill patients if hospitalised far from home
- Repatriation of mortal remains
- Access to Specialised Rape Crisis Centres
These comprehensive services are available on an unlimited basis and free advice via the SAA / Netcare Travel Clinics is included.
