Amazing claim experience, this is how it went:-
1. Monday my car was rear ended by the vehicle behind me in peak hour traffic; notified my insurer
2. Tuesday my insurer phoned me and captured the claim, all done with dignity respect and professionally.
3. Assessment booked at Randburg Telesure Assessment Centre for Thursday at my request.
4. Vehicle assessed on Thursday morning.
5. Thursday afternoon my Insurer phoned me to advice that the claim is ready to be resolved, awaiting my decision.
Throughout the entire incident, all the people I came into contact with provided the most amazing professional and dignified service. The Telesure assessment centre is a pleasure to visit, the Glassfit agent checked out my vehicles windscreen and rear windscreen offering assistance if needed, without being cumbersome or intimidating.

Sadly we had a break-in to our home while my daughter and I were out. The stole some of our electronic equipment and so I had to lodge a claim with A&G (who we had just joined on the 1st of August 2009). Obviously because we had been insured with them for less than a month I was not expecting anything but the usual arguments, fights, threats and change of insurance company at the end of the whole debacle.
How wrong was I? I submitted the claim for what had been stolen on the Friday (of which the most unusual item was a remote control for my Hi-Fi which cannot be operated without it). My claim was put through to Chris to process. The following week I was out of cell phone reception and could not provide certain information but as soon as I got back (the following Tuesday) I phoned and completed the claim.
Our claim was processed and we received the phone call on Thursday to say that all the items, including the remote, would be replaced. We collected our stuff the following day with a minimal excess.
What amazing service from an insurance company. It is so great to deal with people who know what they're doing.
