Executive Head Strategic Alliances; Brokers and Affinities was appointed in 2012, she adds to the group a wealth of knowledge and over 18 years’ experience, some of her proficiencies include HR, IT, Marketing and Operations management.
In this role, Tania is Accountable for the growth of the short term insurance portfolio by leading the following channels: Broker Distribution, Dealer Market Distribution and Strategic Affinity partnerships. The focus is on providing the appropriate channel strategies and mobilizing the management team to deliver on these with their teams to achieve targeted growth objectives at healthy margins. This entails much networking, partner engagement, negotiation and deal making as well as internal management of execution across the entire value chain, much of which is through matrix delivery.
Some of Tania’s passions include partner engagement and negotiation of innovative win-win solutions, to name but a few, with a strong interest in business ethics.
Tania prides herself in being a leader with strong relationship skills, a leader who cultivates talents in others and leads with passion and purpose.
With 26 years’ experience in the insurance Industry, Julie has experience in various aspects as they pertain to insurance, including; Broker channel management, Claims Management, Service fulfilment, High net worth engagement management, Sales & execution, Affinity partner management & white labelling.
Julie has a great passion for the broker channel and believes in its contribution and potential, as a result she accepted a General Management role that looks at expanding the broker footprint for Auto & General and ensuring greater relevance in our brand.

Accountability for the design and implementation of strategies that enable growth of the short term insurance broker portfolio of new and existing partners. Grow, develop, lead, motivate and empower my team to achieve these goals.
Articulate and communicate key deliverables and business context. Analysing current performance inhibitors and finding solutions to ensure business continuity. Responsible for the re-engineering and implementation of the new broker distribution channel and service proposition.
Juan currently holds the position of General Manager: Southern Regions at Auto & General with 28 years of experience in the Industry.
Juan joined Auto & General in 1988 and is well versed in all avenues of the short term insurance industry. His key focus is relationships, he strongly affirms that success in business is strongly correlated to building relationships and making connections, he does exceptionally well in exuding this message to the five regions under him.
In addition to his role, Juan is also the Key Individual for Auto & General and is quite involved with many CSI projects which can be attributed towards his passion to assist others.
Appointed as the General Manager in 2007, Juan as since gained experience in Loss adjusting, claims, policy services and a host of other departments. His array of roles within Auto & General aids in the management of the broker teams to ensure development, growth and performance of your brokerage.
