Auto and General Business Insurance Media Consumption Research Survey Terms and Conditions - Fuel Voucher Prize Incentive
1. About the Survey
1.1. This Survey is conducted to gather insights into media consumption habits and preferences – including radio, television and digital platforms among businesses operating in South Africa.
1.2. The Survey is administered by Auto and General (herein after referred to as “the Researcher”), a licensed non-life insurer and financial services provider (FSP: 16354), with its registered office at Auto and General Park, 1 Telesure Lane, Riverglen, Dainfern, 2191.
1.3. Participation in the Survey is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time before submitting your responses without any negative consequences.
1.4. The Survey should take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and will be used for research purposes only
2. Eligibility
2.1. Participation in the Survey is open to representatives of legally registered businesses in South Africa.
2.2. Participants must be 18 years of age or older with a valid South African I.D number or passport and is authorised to respond on behalf of their organisation.
2.3. Only one entry per business entity will be accepted for prize draw purposes. Multiple entries from the same organisation will be disqualified from the prize draw.
2.4. Employees, directors, and immediate family members of Auto and General and its affiliated service providers are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
3. Prize Incentive
3.1. The Prize:
· One (1) lucky respondent will be randomly selected to receive a fuel voucher to the value of R2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Rand) (the "Prize").
3.2. Prize Draw
· The prize draw will take place on 3 July 2026.
· The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible completed survey submissions received by 30 June 2026.
· The draw will be conducted independently to ensure fairness and transparency.
3.3. Notification of Winner
· The winner will be notified via the contact details provided in their survey submission within three (3) business days of the draw.
· If the winner cannot be reached within ten (10) business days of first contact, or if the winner declines the Prize, a new winner will be randomly selected.
3.4. Prize Redemption
· The Prize is in the form of a fuel voucher and is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
· The fuel voucher will be issued by The Rewards CO and is subject to the provider's own terms and conditions.
· A voucher code will be sent by Rewards CO to the winner through SMS.
4. Data Collection and Privacy
4.1. All information collected through this Survey will be used solely for research purposes related to business media consumption patterns.
4.2. Personal information collected for the purpose of the prize draw (such as your name and contact details) will be stored separately from your survey responses and will not be used to influence research findings.
4.3. Survey responses will be aggregated and analysed anonymously. No individual responses will be attributed to specific respondents in any published research output.
4.4. By participating, you consent to the Researcher processing your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
4.5. Personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the Survey and prize draw, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.
4.6. No participant or winner of this survey is in any way obliged to enter into a contract of insurance with Auto and General and/or a contract with any of their associated or affiliated companies.
4.7. Participants consent to the processing of your personal information by Auto and General and/or any of their associated or affiliated companies, and/or the promoter and/or its service providers, insofar that it is necessary to give effect to the survey, for example to view the entries, select and announce the winners publicly and deliver the prizes.

5. Participant Obligation
5.1. Participants agree to provide honest and accurate responses to the best of their knowledge.
5.2. Participants must not engage in any fraudulent conduct, including providing false contact details or submitting multiple entries to increase their chances of winning.
5.3. Any participant found to have engaged in fraudulent conduct will be immediately disqualified and may be reported to relevant authorities.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All research findings, reports, and outputs derived from this Survey remain the intellectual property of Auto and General.
6.2. By participating, you grant the Researcher a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the aggregated and anonymised data provided for research and publication purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. The Researcher takes no responsibility for any technical failures, server errors, or other circumstances that prevent a participant from completing or submitting the Survey.
7.2. The Researcher is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Survey or the prize draw, including failure to receive or use the Prize.
7.3. The Researcher is not responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by participants in connection with the Survey.
8. General
8.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
8.2. Any disputes arising from the Survey or prize draw shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
8.3. The Researcher reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Survey or prize draw at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
8.4. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and the Researcher in respect of the Survey.
