Auto and General Insurance awarded an AA- credit rating

International credit rating agency, Global Credit Ratings (GCR), has awarded Auto and General Insurance with a claims paying ability rating of AA-. The rating signifies a very high claims paying ability, with strong protection factors.
The AA- rating is positively impacted by Auto and General Insurance’s strong market positioning, as well as its status as being a strong brand within its Group.
According to Leon Vermaak, CEO of Auto and General Insurance: “Our global credit rating has an enormous impact on Auto and General Insurance as it provides an independent and internationally recognised measurement of our financial strength. The process also presents a useful management tool as it provides management with a knowledgeable, independent, third party opinion on Auto and General Insurance and its operations. We are extremely pleased to have been awarded a rating of AA-.”
