Auto & General Is Voted As The Best Of The Best

press-releases

January 27, 2022

The title of ‘best’ is something we strive for, something we work hard to achieve.  Now, it’s official with the announcement that Auto & General has been voted as the Best of the Best in two categories in the recent 'The Star Readers’ Choice Awards.

The annual awards sees consumers voting for their favourite businesses, service providers or items in various categories.  Votes are then tallied to reveal who is tops in terms of excellence and quality of service.

Winning the Best Car Insurance and Best Insurance Company (Personal) categories is an honour and privilege and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the readers who voted for us.

According to the Head of Auto & General, Ricardo Coetzee:  “Experience is the best teacher and over the past three decades, we have refined the way we do things to ensure certainty for our customers and Broker partners.  Customer-centricity and service-reliability is at the heart of what we do and these two awards prove that we are on the right track.”

At Auto & General, certainty and reliability are not hollow words – they are backed by a  Service Promise, which offers its customers’ the right to exceptional service.  If, for whatever reason, we are unable to keep a promise we have made to our customers, we’ll pay them a self-imposed penalty fee.

“Our promises are based on research into the real needs of customers, which the insurance industry as a whole does not always deliver on. The promises include having access to a dedicated claims consultant throughout their claims process; their vehicle being repaired right the first time, and having assistance in an emergency, 24/7.  Auto & General have also launched a claims certainty guide which details the steps to take to ensure an insurance claim is honoured,” says Coetzee.

Once again, thank you for this vote of confidence. In a world full of uncertainty, we’ll continue to promise certainty. In a world full of unpredictability, we’ll continue to deliver reliability.
